Music is a vital element of worship at East Stone United Methodist church. Utilizing the talents of singers and instrumentalists within the congregation and the community, the music ministry has presented a wide spectrum of musical styles designed for one purpose....To give praise to our Lord and Savior.

"Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God."

At East Stone Gap United Methodist Church, we give the highest priority to our worship.  Next to proclaiming the Word of God, we believe there is nothing Christians do that is more important.  

There are many ways to worship God, and music just happens to one of them.  Church music is also the venue for many people to use their talents to honor the One who bestowed the talent upon them.  

Our Praise Team  is comprised of volunteers who love God and music and offer their songs as a sacrifice of praise to Almighty God.
 

We have a dedicated and enthusiastic choir. It is always ready to accept new members.  Choir practice is every Wednesday at 8.00 p.m.

The Rejoice Singers provides leader-ship and inspiration for our own services, and also reaches out to the larger community by singing at other churches and community events.
